Ripple (XRP) has announced a partnership with International Money Express. Also known as Intermex, this company specializes in money remittances for Latin America. Intermex already processes millions of dollars in payments every year many of which are between the US and Mexico. The partnership with Ripple should help make cross border payments quicker and easier.
The significance of a coin being added to Coinbase can not be overstated. Coinbase is one of the leading sites which is used as the “ramp” from fiat currency (dollars, etc.) to Cryptocurrency. Currently, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum are the coins listed on Coinbase. All have enjoyed a significant increase in price after being listed on Coinbase.
